2019 What a Year!

Well we’re into the swing of 2020 now, doesn’t Christmas and 2019 feel like forever ago!

2019 was a big year for us, having opened our second retail space in Garforth and one we’re super proud of. With myself and my sisters living in and around Garforth it has long been a dream of ours to have a retail space here on our doorstep. Our shop in Robin Hoods Bay is a gem and is easily managed from afar with our Parents and family friends working there day to day but as we’re not able to pick up our lives and move to the Seaside (we wish!) we thought to bring FEW Gifts to us.

We’ve been asked many times why we’ve chosen an industrial unit for a shop and the simple answer is ‘We’re not just a shop’. FEW Gifts, Garforth is a shop with a twist. We chose this space because of it’s potential, it’s sheer size and versatility. We want FEW Gifts to be more than just a shop but a space where you can come and buy work from local artist, designers and makers. Where you can take classes and courses from those same individuals to learn new skills, try new things and simply to get creative. Fingers crossed we’ll be here for some time yet and when we are we hope to expand our classes and workshops and really bring the community to FEW Gifts.

We are super chuffed to work in partnership with so many lovely locals and want to say a big THANK YOU to all those who have hired, attended and made use of our event space in the Art Hub.

And of course a big THANK YOU to our lovely customers, each and every one of you that’s popped in to see what we’re about, each purchase however small really counts and we look forward to seeing you again.
